Launch is not the end of the work. An asset needs stewardship, availability, and continuing responsibility.
A digital product does not end when it is published. Devices change, needs emerge, and the people who made it useful still carry responsibility for its benefit.
Finishing a task is different from stewarding an asset. A task has a clear end; an asset has a life cycle: building, launch, care, maintenance, and improvement when needs appear.
That is why endowing expertise is more than development hours. It is a commitment to keep what was built available and useful.
